So let’s see where to begin. I grew up in Miami, made in America but with Cuban parts. I’m a bit of old school and new. My dad grew up in Cuba so he is a bit old fashioned and my mom grew up here so she is more liberal I guess you could say. My parents are still together and I see them and how they have made it through the good times and the bad and I want that. How after all these years they are still in love with each other. I can be a hopeless romantic at times, and I do want someone to grow old with. Family is very important to me and I want someone who won’t mind a family bbq or dinner once in a while.

I'm currently finishing up my degree in criminal justice and forensics, which are both subjects that have fascinated me.

I’m a down to earth girl, not snobby or stuck up. I may be a bit shy at first but it just takes me a little time to get comfortable. I’m a caring person, always there if you need me. If you let me get close, I will open up just the same. I’m not a person who likes drama or confrontation, because I know people who thrive on that in a relationship. But it is reasonable to expect there will be fights or arguments or some bumps in the road. I’m not a jealous person either, nothing to the extreme. As long as you are honest with me and respect me, I will do the same and unless I am proven otherwise, I won’t doubt you.

Right now I am working and going to school so I don’t get to do as many things as I would like outdoors and but I’m always up for trying something new. I don’t mind getting dirty. I’m very open-minded always open to new ideas or activities. I try not to dismiss anything before as least giving it a chance, and although I may not like it in the end I will always respect you if you like it.

I love art and music. There are days I spend painting or on some other art project I’ve started, it is my way to relax and escape. I love going to art festivals. To me, to see the art of someone else is very intimate, to see the world through someone else’s eyes. I love all kinds of music and love going to concerts.

While I like relaxing at home I also like going out. Maybe to a movie, the beach, going to a new restaurant, bike ride in the park, a nice coffee shop, rollerblading, playing pool, or laying on a blanket under the stars.

I have a small number of really close friends who know the real me. I’m fun and silly and love making people laugh. I’m sweet, honest and affectionate and make some really good cookies. I want someone who I can laugh with and be myself around, who will be my friend as well as my companion and partner in crime. Someone who will let me spoil them every once in a while with a nice home cooked dinner or a nice massage, someone who will share their life with me, who I can share mine with. I want a to person to have a life outside of the relationship. You don’t have to spend every waking moment with the person for them to know that you love and care about them. While I do go to school and work I’m a bit of a night owl, so I don’t mind a late night date during the week or dinner. I’m easy going so I’m happy going out or getting some groceries and cooking.
