These are so hard to write...
Well, I'm a guy who likes to look for the good things in life, and try to find the beauty in everyday experiences. I spend a lot of time around the seriously mentally ill in my profession, which can make for some crazy stories (no pun intended) and a sense that I'm making a positive change in people's lives. I feel good about who I am, despite some really crappy experiences that may make some people bitter and angry. Someone once told me that having the ability to overcome mental anguish and personal adversity is what true courage is about. If that's the case, I'd like to think I've been able to live up to that ideal.
I love to cook, read and spend time with people. I'd like to find someone who can be serious about their needs in life, as well as be relaxed and goof around a bit. I joke around a lot and try to keep the mood light. I also love art in its many different styles. Whether it be industrial, on canvas, photo, dance, or on your skin.
I don't subscribe to a religion, but do respect it. I do believe in a higher power, tho. I am always looking to learn more. Learning is never-ending. Of course, the joy in that is never-ending also!
