First off, I always feel like these self-summaries make me sound a little silly. I always feel so awkward sitting here typing about myself in a box. With that being said - here you go.

I was born and raised the the DC metro area and after spending a short time living up in Ohio, I'm now back in NOVA. I'm working full time right now Monday-Friday as a receptionist at an internal medicine practice and I'm enjoying it and learning a lot. Now that I'm back in the area, it would be nice to meet someone.

I have a deep love of music, although most people tend to say something similar to this. I have a very eclectic taste and love finding and learning about new groups and artists. I love going to live shows although I haven't been to many lately. Ska, punk, shoegaze, acoustic, funk, alternative, indie pop, electronica - you name it, I'll listen to it and probably love it. I also play (well...sort of play...) the guitar and the ukulele. I'm not too great but I still enjoy it. It's a great hobby and it's another way to make music come alive. Corny, I know, but true.
I also love movies, exploring, driving my car, being outside, going on random adventures, and meeting new people.

I'm looking for someone who's willing to be completely honest with me. In the past, the people I've been with haven't been able to really talk to me about things. When your significant other can't talk to you about problems, it makes it very difficult to fix whatever might be wrong. Sense of humor is also something that's really important to me. A lot of people don't put a lot of emphasis on this but I love to make jokes and I love to laugh. Of course I know when to be serious but sometimes you really need to let go. On the more superficial side, I really have a thing for guys with tats and piercings. It's not a requirement, it's just one of those things I like. Non-religious or not too serious about religion also scores points with me.
